Ease up on all those elaborate pictures of yours
plant or animal or human quarantine
or outbreak
those things I can’t control
how could I?
This is the way I live.
I can’t stop these trees from shedding their leaves
yet I try
keep notes none the less.
Chinese astrology

I fill my pockets with all their souvenirs
Speak to me
goddess post
dust on my pillow at times.
I press those leaves in books
Chinese astrology compatibility
remember their voices.
I sound so proud of me
don’t I?

What memories are conjured up when you get a whiff of a brand new box of Crayola crayons? The scent is so unique that it can transport you back to your childhood in a heartbeat. Although I’m well into what is termed “midlife,” I eagerly anticipate the experience of my son opening a new box of Crayola crayons. When he does, I’m flooded with memories of my own childhood, and the thrill and wonder of having - if I was lucky - 64 pristine colors from which to choose. The choices weren’t always easy, and the box seemed to hold some unanswerable questions. Should I use Thistle or Orchid? Yellow or Lemon Yellow? Why did I have a Red Violet and a Violet Red, or a Green Yellow and a Yellow Green? What, exactly, did Raw Sienna and Raw Umber mean?

A Man for All Seasons – 4 Stars (Excellent)
A Man for All Seasons poses the question: What would a man sacrifice for his principles?
When King Henry VIII (Robert Shaw) seeks approval to divorce his aging wife Catherine of Aragon who could not bear him a son, and marry his mistress Anne Boleyn, the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church stand in his way.
Henry VIII’s new Chancellor of England and Cardinal–Sir Thomas More (Paul Scofield)—stands in his way as well. Henry VIII wants Sir Thomas More’s blessing in his action but does not get it as Sir Thomas More, a good Catholic and Cardinal, will not go along with such heresy.

Mercury retrograde is a fairly regular cycle that usually happens about three times a year for about three weeks, and is often the scapegoat for what is going wrong or didn’t work out during that time. That’s when my computer starts being finicky, causing hours of frustration until it finally dies and has to be taken in for repairs.
Mercury is largely about thought processes, communication, giving and receiving information, transportation, commerce and managing everyday affairs, so these are the areas where we may feel a loss of control and predictability, and which might also need extra attention.

Little children that I once waited for in happiness
I’ve scarcely now try to notice,
distracted by their rudeness.
These children are from mothers…
the ones that always make trouble,
turn me pale inside—yelling.
Parents! How late did you wakeup today?
With their deafness to poison me.
This poem from me…poem
that I’ve wanted to write!
A sudden relief fills my head!
I’m with my doubts, in which I’ll die
alone, and be called the ogre of the day.

Myths or mythos for the ancient Greeks was an allegoric vehicle to awaken the soul from its forgetful past for those who were spiritual and sensitive enough to recognise the veiled truth behind it. The Greek word μύθος= myth, derives from the sound ‘mou’=murmur, which we produce when our lips are closed and the word Μυστήριο= mystery= inexplicable, adjoins with it. Together they form a secret communicating organ for every soul who is ready to recollect the forgotten experience from their previous incarnations.

Sage Narada was a Maharishi, a renowned teacher, inspirer of poets, counselor of kings, a divine messenger, and also a notorious ‘mischief-maker’. The word ‘Nara’ means knowledge useful to mankind and ‘Da’ means ‘a giver’. So ‘Narada’ means the one who gives knowledge to mankind and imparts right guidance.
Narada with a knotted tuft of hair in the center of an otherwise clean-shaven scalp, usually makes his characteristic entry with a Veena (a stringed musical instrument) in his hand and the name of Lord Narayana on his lips: “Narayana, Narayana”!
