In 1929, the eminent psychologist C.G. Jung wrote that astrology was assured recognition from the field of psychology because “astrology represents the summation of all psychological knowledge of antiquity.” Almost 70 years later, however, astrology is still waiting. Even though this ancient tradition has been practiced throughout the world for thousands of years and its principles and practice share marked similarities with modern psychological thought, astrology has largely been ignored by the psychological community.

Mercury retrograde is a fairly regular cycle that usually happens about three times a year for about three weeks, and is often the scapegoat for what is going wrong or didn’t work out during that time. That’s when my computer starts being finicky, causing hours of frustration until it finally dies and has to be taken in for repairs.
Mercury is largely about thought processes, communication, giving and receiving information, transportation, commerce and managing everyday affairs, so these are the areas where we may feel a loss of control and predictability, and which might also need extra attention.

To calculate your life path number you just need to convert the month to a single number or a master number (November stays 11 rather than 2).
Then convert the day of birth to a single digit or master number.
Next, add the total digits of year and reduce this sum to a single digit or master number. The individual digits representing the month, day, and year, be they single digits or master numbers, are then added together, as necessary to reduce the sum once again to a single digit 1 through 9, or to the numerology “master numbers,” 11 or 22.

It is well known to many of us by now that the “human energy field” is comprised of seven major energy centers or chakras that are located along the cerebral-spinal axis. Each of these centers acts as a substation or transformer of the universal energy or prana that flows through the medulla at the base of the skull. As the prana descends through the five lower chakras it is transformed or modified from it’s pure state. If the lower chakras are clear and free of negative impressions (trauma, suppression, etc.) then the prana is free to ascend back to the upper chakras leading to higher states of consciousness.
